Depth: Repetition

In this assignment, we worked with depth around the neighborhood of Drew. We specifically looked for taking images with depth in it, looking for focused subjects where their was a foreground and a background. We looked for repetition vertically, but horizontally, because it wouldn't have that depth to it. lastly, we looked for leading line images. A subject of a line that led us into a more focused the more we looked into it. These first few photos are examples of repetition.

CityScapes: Combo/Contrasting

This post, shows images of contrasting and a combination of shapes and patterns around the neighborhood.

Cityscapes: Circular

In this post, are examples of circular objects. the laundromat machine seems like a combination of rectangles and circles, but I felt that the circular motion of the clothes in it was the focus.

CityScapes: Rectangular/Squares

This post shows rectangular/square shapes. I really focused or captured the shapes of the mailboxes. I felt that they displayed the concept of rectangular and square shapes, since you normally don't see a circular or triangular mailbox.

CityScapes: Triangles

This time the class worked with shapes and patterns; taking different perspectives of the city and looking through the lenses to see the different shapes and patterns that make it. We took examples of triangular, rectangular/squares, circular, and contrasting/combining different shapes. In this post, I have examples of triangular shapes.
