Draft #3
In this draft, I continued to use Anton Courbijn's work as an influence in the images I took. I also tried to focus on capturing shots of their faces that show emotion and at different perspectives/angles.

Draft #2
For this draft, I tried to focus on taking images similar to Anton Courbijn's style of photography. His pictures, include somewhat dramatic lighting and extreme contrast, which was I tried to to do in my photos. I continued to focus on what was happening or what was there in my backgrounds. I tried to have people in the background or have my subject up against a lively background that puts a lot into the picture.

First Draft
This series of images is my official first draft of my Series Project. I wanted to take portraits of people, but not in the sense of Richard Avedon's style. I want to add a bit of life in each picture with a lively background. In the first several images from the bottom, I had a neutral background, but as i continue to work on this project, i hope to add more abstractness to it.

Op Art:
–noun
a style of abstract art in which lines, forms, and space are organized in such a way as to provide optical illusions
For this project, we had to take images that we previously took and turn them into optical illusions. For my series, I used some abstract pictures that had a lot of color to make it stand out. One thing I liked about the hypnotic effect was that you were able to have a fade of the original image in the background, which is what you see in the first two pictures.
